Manager Business Development


Reporting directly to the senior partners, your main responsibility will be to ensure that the company meets its’ long term growth objectives, by generating new clients on a regular basis. We are looking for an outgoing person that will create an interest for the company’s services through sales calls; finding the right contacts within small and large organizations. If you are a self-motivated individual with the ability to understand R&D tax credit services, can persuasively communicate our service benefits to potential clients, and are a negotiator; able to close the deal, this position will offer an excellent career opportunity. 


Primary Responsibilities
Manage and lead the company to its’ sales growth objectives by meeting the following objectives:

 

  • Qualify, quantify and close new R&D clients, using a structured sales cycle
  • Constantly generate potential leads for R&D clients
  • Use effective relationship sales techniques  to communicate our service benefits to potential clients
  • Develop mew business relationships with professionals and associations in order to build new client lead sources
  • Develop and implement strategy to establish and penetrate new markets

 The ideal candidate will:

  • Communicate effectively and persuasively with decision makers
  • Be unabashed and bold in performing sales calls to decision makers in organizations of all sizes
  • Effectively and constantly generate new qualified leads
  • Be creative in generating leads and  persistent in following up on these leads
  • Be an autonomous individual with a tenacious and energetic personality
  • Have excellent written and oral communication skills in both French and English

 Requirements: 

  • Bilingual – English and French (oral and written)
  • 3 to 8 years experience in technical sales of professional services in the manufacturing, hi-tech, or computer industries
  • Strong ability to effectively synthesize both technical and business issues
  • Have great organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lead multiple customer sales cycles
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with prospects and clients
  • Excellent writing and verbal skills, with an ability to generate proposals
